Bio-energy pellets from the Leinetal bio-energy centre
Bioenergie Handel GmbH sells DINPlus and industrial pellets from the Leinetal bio-energy centre in Hardegsen.

19.07.2010 Heidelberg. The Leinetal bio-energy centre on the grounds of the former cement works in Hardegsen started the production of DINPlus and industrial pellets in March 2010. The aim is to achieve an annual production rate of up to 70,000 t.

The pellets can be obtained as loose goods or in bags directly through Bioenergie Handel GmbH in Heidelberg (www.bioenergie-handel.de).

In addition to strictly natural bio-fuels, the Leinetal bio-energy centre has been producing electricity in accordance with the renewable energy law since December 2009.
Production is based on the "multi-fuel/multi-product" principle: depending on demand and availability, the most varied of raw materials and fuels can be used to produce bio-fuels and electricity.

The technical basis of the "multi-fuel/multi-product" principle is a new type of plant with three moving floors and three dry chip silos which end in two separate production lines.

Volker Fröchtenicht, head of the Hardegsen facility, explained the technical details: "The plant is composed of the best components that are currently available. The technology of the pelletising machine comes from Albert Knoblinger GmbH & Co. KG. The pellet press is from CPM. Rudnick + Enners Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH supplied the associated conveying equipment.

The combined heating and power station for the generation of electricity contains an ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) machine from Turboden, an Italian plant construction company,  as well as a biomass tank from Kohlbach Holding GmbH".
