The great efforts made in Baden-Württemberg in the various fields of renewable energy are underlined by special education opportunities offered at the universities and higher education colleges. Examples include the University of Hohenheim with its emphasis on bioenergy, which offers a course in renewable raw materials and bioenergy, and Rottenburg College, which provides a course in bioenergy. Colleges in Rottenburg and Ulm as well as the technical college in Stuttgart offer a special course entitled SENSE – Sustainable Energy Competence.
