• The skills network for mechatronics alone brings together the competences of companies employing more than 25,000 people and links the most varied sectors such as conventional mechanical engineering and plant manufacturing, specialist machinery producers, system manufacturers for automation, production and automotive engineering as well as medical engineering.

• In total, eight cluster initiatives and sector networks in Baden- Württemberg make a valuable and important contribution towards extending the federal state‟s leading position.
