Baden-Württemberg’s aerospace networks strengthen the innovative capacity and international competitiveness of businesses.

Active co-operation projects in the aerospace sector cross company and institution boundaries and stimulate innovation, strengthen synergies and create new market potential for enterprises based here.

 

  • To achieve a close interaction between research through to individual fields of application via development, close interaction and collaboration is important across a cross-section of companies in the aerospace industry.

  • The outstanding position of Stuttgart, the regional capital, in the aerospace industry is also reflected in the strong networks within the state. The Forum for Space and Air Travel in Baden- Württemberg e.V. (LRBW) is located in Ostfildern, near Stuttgart. With over 150 members, this forum has entered into a co-operation agreement with the University of Stuttgart and works closely with the DLR, the Steinbeis Foundation and other research facilities within Baden-Württemberg. The LRBW network acts as a link between companies, science and politics and reinforces the competitive and innovative capacity of companies in the aerospace sector.
