From 24 to 27 September, 2007, Baden-Württemberg International is presenting Baden-Württemberg as a location for industry and science at Motek, the leading international trade fair for assembly and handling technology. Numerous companies and research institutes from Baden-Württemberg will be presenting innovative products and solutions to a specialist public and visitors from all over the world. Stuttgart, 21 August 2007: Baden-Württemberg is one of the most innovative regions in Europe. With its high industrial density and a broad-based research landscape, Baden-Württemberg is a first-class location for assembly and handling technology and is the German domestic market with the highest demand for related products and systems. On the shared stand of Baden-Württemberg International, well-known companies such as Baublys Control Laser, CSP Energy, Jung, mbo Oßwald, Michael Koch, the research institute Fraunhofer TEG as well as Start Reutlingen will be presenting innovations and high-tech products of the latest state of the art. Motek is taking place for the first time in the New Trade Fair Center Stuttgart and represents an outstanding opportunity for people in the industry to get together and exchange ideas. In 2006, 915 companies exhibited at the Motek trade fair, which was attended by 30,000 specialist visitors and international guests.
Under the slogan "Where ideas work", Baden-Württemberg International, one of the most successful promoters of industry and the economy in Germany, will explain why it is worthwhile investing in a region renowned for its amateur scientists and creative inventors. At the Motek trade fair, Baden-Württemberg International will be acting as a mediator enabling companies to come into contact with each other and enter into cooperative ventures. It is also the central agency to talk to for companies willing to settle in the area.
